Annville man Burt D Webber Jr led a 16 member expedition to the Silver Bank reefs 65 miles northwest of the Dominican Republic where on November 27 the sunken 1641 galleon Concepcion and its haul of gold and silver coins Chinese vases and cannon items were recovered after 120 hours of diving. Estimated value cited near 40 million dollars with proceeds to be split between the Dominican Republic and Sea Quest International Inc.

Coal to gas procedure could increase fuel supplies
A UPI report notes a government energy official says the United States could quadruple coal reserves through underground coal gasification.
