In a blinding snowstorm near Erie Pennsylvania John E Mc Donald 35 and Irene Outwall Fry 32 both newspaper employees were killed instantly when their car was struck by a fast New York Central east bound train west of the city. A car fragment was projected onto a telegraph pole cutting telegraph service briefly. Mc Donald served as advertising solicitor for the Dispatch-Herald and had worked in Jamestown and Westchester New York. Fry a billing clerk leaves a husband and a five year old son. The wreck occurred about a mile west in severe weather. car demolished and parts scattered.
