Cold snap grips Pennsylvania with heavy snow forecast

Budget error found in county budget balance misprint
Lawrence County Commissioners disclosed a clerical mistake in the county budget. Commissioner Frank Vitril said an $8,000 expense was entered as revenue. He noted Thomas Shumaker was absent at the final meeting, and the budget appeared balanced only until the computer was run. The error remained undiscovered through December 28 and 29.
