Kennedy Orders Activation of Two Army Units
President Kennedy ordered permanent activation of two regular Army divisions and release of two National Guard divisions from active duty later this year. Skidding Mishap Injures Westminster Student
A Westminster College student, Peggy Haird, 18, Altoona, was injured when the car she rode in skidded through a stop sign and struck a pickup. Haird is in fair condition with a fractured left leg and ankle at Jameson Memorial Hospital.
