Car motorcycle crash kills two in Shenango Township
Two people died and a third was seriously injured in a Shenango Township crash at U S 422 and Pa 388 yesterday afternoon. Rider Robert J. Emery 41 of 808 Allegheny Ave died at the scene. Passenger Ann M. Didiano 70 of 206 N Vine St died at St Francis Hospital. Driver Frank Didiano Jr. 70 was in critical condition at UPMC Presbyterian after being flown from the scene.

In 1973 while on a family vacation Frank Iwanejko was shot to death during a robbery at Covert's Crossing Mahoning Township. His brother John recalls the shock and long search for answers as two suspects remain in the corrections system with no physical evidence tying them to the crime. Police say the same two men were linked to other local rapes robberies and assaults, and their incarceration halted the cases.
