The Wilmington township teachers held their first local institute at Fay on February 20. Prof. G E Danniels called the meeting which was well attended. H O Drake was chosen president and Miss Emma McWilliams secretary. Participants included Prof. Danniels H E Martin Sara Wilson Miss Eckert Ada Johnson Mary Davis Hugh Dawson and Miss Dawson. Music by the Wilson orchestra. Lace curtains valued at 7000 sold at 25c on the dollar, half wholesale price at Eawers.

Funeral Services for Mrs John Blair Held at Pittsburg Street
The funeral for the late Mrs John Blair was conducted at the family residence on Pittsburg street at 2 o clock Monday afternoon. Rev H G Dodds led the service. Pallbearers included Alfred Williams Charles Beisel Wm Rumberger of Lodge No 404 R of P and John Conn Charles Brown and Frank Van Brocklin from the Order of Railway Conductors. Interment followed at Oak Park.
