Death records list Mrs. Mary Etta Wolford age 78 of Cristobal Panera Dorothy Lee Whieldon age 4 of 1305 Delaware Avenue and Mrs Harrich Dunman age 82 with Mr Jackson noted among the registrations.
James P. Steiner, sergeant of Bo lice, paid a traffic fine around 1 o'clock today using mainly dimes nickels and pennies. The man fined for running a red light paid three dollars in small change, and Steiner spent several minutes counting it. He hopes the next payout uses larger denominations.

Evidence tied to the slayers includes a car with parts matching those used by detective squads, suggesting frantic efforts to destroy it.
International News Service reports that in observance of Washington's birthday all national markets and exchanges are closed today. Banks clearing houses and foreign exchanges also closed as governing boards ordered a three day shutdown from Thursday night through Monday morning. Banks and wholesale clearing houses will reopen Saturday.
