Officers' hours shift to 37.5 weekly but paid for 40 to cover extra care. The health insurance cap is removed and pension contributions change for hires after 2013.

Neshannock School Board Sets Tax Increase Cap
The Neshannock school board plans no tax rise this year but sets a 2.253 percent cap on any future property tax increase, the maximum allowed by the state index, with potential revenue of about 225000. Current mills are 14.3758 with a possible cap at 16.6258. superintendent Todora does not anticipate a hike. Fifth-graders hearts in the right place at GW Intermediate
Six George Washington Intermediate Elementary School fifth graders made and sold more than 1,200 Valentine hearts to raise funds for the Bair Foundation in New Wilmington. Each heart included a pencil and eraser, sold for 25 cents, with uplifting messages.

Trucks, Dozens of Cars Crash on Turnpike

New Castle Seeks Grant to Identify Vacant Properties
