Whisel faces more charges in infant abuse case
Samuel Eugene Whisel 26 of Washington Township is accused of beating an 18 month old girl and 3 year old boy, injuring them severely. He is charged with two counts each of aggravated and simple assault and endangering the welfare of children. Authorities say he prevented the mother from seeking hospital care for two days as the children recover at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
