Stranded motorist in Wyoming kills self after hours in cold
A Salt Lake City man, B years old, dying of exposure, killed himself in his car near Green River after waiting 11 hours for a passing motorist. Sweetwater County coroner Peter Vase said Huffstetler, employed as a security guard at a chemical plant, left a note stating he could not stand the cold any longer. The vehicle stopped on Interstate 80 about seven miles west of Green River. Huffstetler reportedly shot himself in the right temple with a .22 caliber pistol and was found by a Wyoming highway patrolman.
