Storm fronts hit county with heavy snow and slick roads
A weekend storm prompted a noon end to warnings with forecasts of five to nine inches locally and snow mixed with sleet or freezing rain. The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh predicted the storm would bring heavy snow mainly yesterday afternoon and last night, with colder temperatures and further accumulations today between one and three inches.
