John Allerton of the Second ward was arrested at 10:30 AM Tuesday by City Treasurer Charles Duff and jailed for nonpayment of city and school taxes totaling $2.21. Duff said Allerton refused and neglected to pay, and will be kept in arrears until all delinquent accounts are settled.
