In Washington County a woman, Mrs. Leonard Snyder, 45, saved her invalid husband, 50, from a rural home fire in Fishpot Hollow near Richeyville. She and Snyder were burned. both survived. Fire Chief Bitner put damage at $10,000 and blamed faulty wiring and poor water supply.

Se Otei Se Otei Autos collide in township four vehicle southbound on Pa 65 in Shenango Township failed to stop yesterday and struck a halted car pushing it into a third vehicle waiting to make a turn. Lois J. Millicon 36 of Wampum RD 2 was stopped in the southbound lane waiting to make a left turn and a vehicle driven by Judith Ann Korn 20 of Davidson St. Wampum stopped behind her. Wayne A. Crass 19 of 1020 State Rd. approached the halted vehicles according to police but failed to stop. There were no apparent injuries and damage to all three vehicles was estimated at 560 dollars.

Three people treated at Jameson Memorial Hospital for minor injuries after a hit and run on State St hill at 2 10 p m. Jane Crouch 13 Grove City and Larry Haylett 22 415 Court St plus his wife Randy Haylett 18 all suffered scrapes and cuts. Gladys M. Harlan 40 Evergreen Ave charged with failing to stop and DUI arraigned waived to court released on 1500 bond. Haylett man driving west collided with Harlan eastbound crossing center line. Officers stopped Harlan five minutes later on W Washington St bridge. In a second crash at 4 46 p m two were injured at Leasure Ave Jameson treated Gary Hill 23 Wooley Ave upper back neck and Earl Jordan Jr 18 Leasure Ave lower back pain. Police said Hill tried to turn from Albert Sr and slid into another vehicle.
