One Injured In Perry Highway Crash Near Leesburg
Mrs. Charles E. Peiffer of Meadville suffered a cut on the forehead and upper lip when a coupe driven by her husband Charles Peiffer skidded and struck a tractor and semi trailer on a Perry highway hill two miles north of Leesburg. The tractor and semi trailer were stopped at the hilltop and the car skidded while trying to stop. A second crash nearby on the same highway involved a car driven by Matt Flaherty of Seventh Avenue Hotel Pittsburgh. it skidded, left the road, hit a telephone pole and overturned with no injuries reported. Both accidents were reported to the Pennsylvania Motor Police.

Slippery Rock Banker Dies After Major Surgery
John A. Aiken cashier of the First National Bank of Slippery Rock died in Pittsburgh after a major operation at Magee Elizabeth Steel hospital.
