Kenneth R Green 83 longtime New Castle resident dies
Kenneth R Green 83 of New Castle died Friday December 9 2011 at Overlook Medical Clinic New Wilmington. Born April 3 1928 he was a son of Fred McKenny Green and Alberta Yoho Green. He was married to Esther Pence Green who died in 1979 and later to Norma J Hull who died February 16 2011. He worked for International Mill Service in Sharon and was a 40 year member of Operating Engineers Local 66. He enjoyed boating water skiing fishing piloting and building and flying an ultralight aircraft. He traveled the United States in his motor home and was a member of Kings Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter Frannie Dell and husband Raymond of New Castle a son Ron Green and wife Kathy of New Castle a stepdaughter Debra Persohn and husband David of Georgetown Ohio six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother George Green and a sister Althea Burke. Visitation 5 to 8 pm today and 10 to 11 am tomorrow at R Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory Inc 2429 Wilmington Road. A service will be 11 am tomorrow at the funeral home with Rev Rex Wasser officiating. Burial in Kings Chapel Cemetery.
