Two High School Boys Drown Near Bessemer Pond

Schoolboy Crowns Two Rescued After Ice Breaks
In Scott Haven Pennsylvania on December 3 a ten year old, Samuel P. Moore, died after thin ice broke under three boys sliding on the Youghiogheny river. Albert and Anthony Kresiewski aged 13 and 9 were saved by Adolph Saccino who heard their cries and pulled them to safety. Moore’s body was recovered from mud and submerged weeds later.
