Pittsburgh pact okayed

Pittsburgh reaches its first collective bargaining agreement with 600 clerical technical and professional employees. The pact runs through 1979 and offers a $700 yearly raise for earners under 11200 and 6.15 percent for higher earners. Improved holiday and vacation benefits accompany the contract costing the city $400000. Salaries for white collar workers will rise to blue collar levels.
