Ford F Boyle a Hillsville resident was arrested by Creighton G Logan for desertion from the coast artillery. He was taken to Buffalo New York to be turned over to army officials at Fort Porter. Logan will receive a 50 dollar reward and expenses. Boyle fled from Fort H G Wright on April 9 1910 spent over 1000 dollars in seven weeks and worked as a night watchman after returning to Hillsville.
