Uncle Lucky and the Sparrow Nest Rescue Tale
A kindly old rabbit, Uncle Lucky, helps Mrs Sparrow by rescuing a fledgling from a broken nest at the front porch. He places the bird back in the nest and advises the young sparrow to rest its wings. The scene ends with Little Miss Mousie watching and Uncle Lucky drifting to sleep in the hammock as a gentle bedtime poem begins.
