Police kill snared fugitive in Pittsburgh standoff
Pittsburgh police fatally shot fugitive Joseph H. Jones after he fired on a homicide detective and refused to surrender. Jones, 42, died in Mercy Hospital shortly after a shotgun strike. An unidentified woman was sought in connection with wounding Daniel Turner, 46, near Weirton, West Virginia.
