Attachment on Captain Moon’s household goods for $9 debt
An attachment was placed yesterday afternoon on Captain Moon’s household goods to collect $9 for leased furniture. Milliken King claimed leases on furniture worth that amount. Rumors of back rent circulated, but R A Todd denied an attachment. Two friends of the former police chief and a brother allegedly backed a $50 back rent and an $11.50 gas bill. The goods were being moved when the constable intervened, and the owners took them away.
