Eighteen Hurt in Bus Crash Near Elbridge NY
Eighteen persons were injured when a large Cleveland bound bus skidded and overturned at a steep hill foot two miles west of Elbridge on the Syracuse Auburn highway. Five passengers and the driver were hospitalized. Named injured include George Glazier of Wilkes-Barre Pa in critical condition, Fred Hicks of Wilkes-Barre, John Garvey 30 of Philadelphia, and Miss Mary McFad 24 of Philadelphia. The driver’s right arm was amputated. Glazier’s condition was described as very serious with possible internal injuries.
