School Buses To Be Inspected In Lawrence County
Lawrence County 116 school buses will be inspected Monday through Thursday at Shenango Area Elementary School ahead of the 1960 61 term. Drivers must present a physical exam report licenses and the bus owner card. New rules require one five pound dry chemical extinguisher and two flashing blinker lights on newer buses. Inspections run daily 9 11 and 1 3 with Thursday until 4.

Air Force rejoices as first orbiting capsule recovered
A Navy ship recovered the first man made object from an orbiting satellite near Hawaii. The 27 by 33 inch 300-pound space capsule from Discoverer XIII was retrieved by Boatswain's Mate Robert W. Carroll after a search by Air Force planes. The capsule was ejected from the satellite and remained undamaged.
