A young man, David Brown, about 23, of 350 East Washington Street, was killed at 12 10 p m today at the intersection of Boyles and Highland avenues when his motorcycle struck a street car operated by Motorman Clark Pattison. Brown had been at Highland Auto Service Station working on his machine, rode from the station onto Boyles Avenue, halted to prepare to move south as a northbound street car passed, then the motorcycle suddenly started.
