Kane Kane tied to 2009 grand jury leak case in Philadelphia

Prosecutors say Kane Kane sought revenge by gathering confidential documents from a Fina led grand jury case that had been dropped in 2009. The case involved NAACP leader J Whyatt Mondesire in Philadelphia. Kane allegedly passed materials through Adrian King and Josh Morrow to the Philadelphia Daily News, while denying direct delivery. Bruce Beemer testified he was stunned by the Daily News article and return to court. The defense argued Kane would not risk her career over a feud with Fina. Kane faces perjury and conspiracy related counts, lost her law license, and did not seek re election. The trial is expected to last a week.
