Trustee to propose pension fund consolidation in New Castle
New Castle City Council President Robert Bullano says he will call for consolidating the city pension fund at the quarterly board meeting. The $27 million fund, invested via Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, WRP Investments, and American Express Financial Advisors, would shift to one Morgan Stanley fund while bidders are sought. Bullano emphasizes better returns, service, and accountability, noting a held vote against multi-firm splits and the need for a holding company during the review.
