Tires Wear Unevenly From Road Pitch Not Corners
The article explains that right side tires wear faster due to road crown rather than more frequent right turns. Pavement curvature concentrates wear on the right rear and left rear, with front tires affected by edge grinding and abrasion. The road shape drives the sequence of tire wear more than driving style.
Tire wear patterns under uneven loading explained
The passage explains that when the right rear tire carries more weight than the left rear, the faster wear occurs on the right rear. It notes driving pull on the left rear and lack of pull on the right rear, causing the left rear to wear faster, with typical conditions seeing the right rear wearing out first and the left front wearing out sooner in some cases.
