It's About the Warrior Foundation Aids Local Veterans
The It's About the Warrior Foundation started by Monteleone after leaving teaching funds post 9 11 veterans in the tri state area. The group runs four programs including bill payment aid, home repairs, PTSD seminars, and hunting and fishing outings for veterans and their families. Sponsors include the Pirates Iron City Beer and WDVE among others, with hands on outreach helping veterans reconnect with family and community.
