Newlyweds Die in Auto Streetcar Crash
Pittsburgh couple married July 18 died when their auto skidded into a fast street car on Forbes Street near Frick Park. Melvin D. Lucas, 33, of Union Switch Signal, and wife Carol, 25, perished. Their kitten also was killed. Mrs Lucas died at Columbia hospital. Mr Lucas died about an hour later in Wilkinsburg.
