Fundraiser supports Pearson Park and Lawrence County Hockey
A family event offered baked treats and ice cream from Brewster's to raise funds for Pearson Park and the Lawrence County Lightning Hockey Association. The nine-team group with 176 families skates September through March at Hess Ice Rink and across the county. Todd Chamberlain praised township support over nearly a decade as the event aimed to give back. Disney princess Cinderella met children while Nancy Zurynski led face painting and a concert, part of the Pearson Park summer program with weekly activities and clinics.
