Funeral Tuesday For Woman Found In Shenango River
The unidentified woman found drowned in the Shenango River Saturday morning was identified as Mrs Elizabeth Jane Cover McChesney 40 of 707 Carlisle Street formerly of the Turner building on Neshannock Avenue. Identification was made by her niece Mrs Richard Mc Chesney who had been staying with her. She had been despondent since her husband William J McChesney died October 28 1840. Born July 17 1890 in Lawrence County she moved to Mr McChesney on June 14 1923. She was a member of Louis E. Simon No 11 Women’s Relief Corps and the Second U F P church and attended the Married People Bible class. Survived by brothers John A Cover Robert Cover Boozal of New Wilmington George W Cover of New Galilee and William W Cover of Red Bluff California. The body is at Zebner funeral home North Beaver Street where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with interment in Grandview Cemetery Beaver Falls. Friends may call this evening from seven to nine.
