Virtuosos to present free Cathedral organ concert
Virtuoso Andre Knevel and Michael R. Kearney will give a free classical organ concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in New Castle, with a second show at Center Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock on Thursday. Shenango Students Near Two-Sided Iron Giraffe Goal
Shenango High School seventh graders push the Iron Giraffe Challenge to raise 15000 for a well in South Sudan. As of Wednesday, about 400 remains to meet the target, with online gifts at bit.ly SHS-IGC2024 through April 24 and checks mailed to the school by April 22. The project, begun in spring 2020 with Water for South Sudan, aims to provide safe water to five million people in the northeast African nation.
