Thornburgh doubts nuclear plant future in Pennsylvania

Fire suit against former Holiday Inn owner moved to Allegheny County

Neshannock budget keeps millage steady in 1979 80 plan
The Neshannock Township School Board tentatively OKs a 1979 80 budget of 3,189,091, up 215,765 from last year, with a 5 to 6 percent increase and no millage hike. Last year’s tax was 83 mills. The board will revise the budget before final approval next month and voted to terminate the Honeywell thermostat maintenance contract, moving upkeep in house.
