Officer Willis G. McMaullen was injured when his police motorcycle collided with L. G. Laurell’s car at North and North Mill streets about 8:40 AM. Laurell’s car and the motorcycle were damaged. McMaullen received six stitches for a left ear cut and was treated at Jameson Memorial Hospital before returning home.
