Plane Crash at Shannon Airport Leaves One Survivor

Five Children Burn To Death In Vandercook Lake Fire
Jackson Michigan April 15 state police report a frame apartment fire at Vandercook Lake killed five children of Ruth Tatman and injured three adults. Beverly and Betty Nelson, daughters of Clifford Nelson, plus four other adults escaped or were rescued. Fire trapped Ethel Midgett aged 16 and siblings James 13 Boos Tatman 4 Nelson 6 and Betty 7.
