Driving force leads veterans bus trip to Washington monuments
Hugh Coryea leads a 112 seat bus trip sponsored by the Orange Veterans Project for veterans to visit Washington D C monuments this fall. About 85 to 90 veterans are signed up with 40 seats open for a Sept 27 to 28 schedule. The trip is free and has no overnight stay with chaperones aboard. A sock hop fundraiser May 17 at the Sons of Italy, 7 to 10 p.m., supports the trip with tickets at 10 per person.
