Chinese free West German jailed as spy
Trutz Ritter von Xylander, a 38 year old West German convicted of spying for the United States, walked free after more than five years in Chinese prison. He crossed the Hong Kong China border palely but in good health and planned to fly to Frankfurt in a few days with his brother greeting him at the border. A West German consulate spokesman confirmed the upcoming travel.
