W. R. Bingham district manager of Bell Telephone in this city was a student at Pennsylvania State College during his 21st year and applied for admittance to the Naval Flying Corps. He later returned to Lehigh University to complete his studies and graduated. He joined the telephone organization in March 1928 and resides on Sheridan Avenue.
The body of the Cranford torch murder victim was identified today as Mildred Mowry Campbell of Greenville Pennsylvania. Identification was made by Greenville residents Mrs H G Dodds and Mrs John Straub who traveled to Elizabeth with a Greenville police representative.
Harrisburg dispatch notes both Senate and House in session for first time this year to speed final work before adjournment on April 18. Senate to act on second reading measures including Heaton bill on gradual repeal of the Anthracite tonage tax and further items from the road program and the Ederer bill defining game procedures. Sharon Pa April 11 Glenn Carley Jr eight son of local businessman dies from accidental chest wound suffered Monday while playing with a gun. The tragedy ends a quiet family life in Sharon with authorities investigating the incident.

Dispatches report Col. Charles A. Lindbergh vanishing for about 20 hours after departing Mexico City, reappearing unharmed in Brownsville Texas. He warned friends not to worry, saying camping gear was with him and no anxiety is felt. East coast observers expect further developments as the search continues.
Captain Edward Barber once with the Mexican rebels faces delay in collecting a $6,000 owed for aerial services as U S customs seize a $20,000 plane he flew there from Mexico for failure to pay duty. In Greensburg Pennsylvania the Kinloch mine disaster inquest began with 16 to 20 witnesses expected. Coroner James Harkin ordered subpoenas for miners and a policeman on duty near the shaft mouth when the March 21 explosion killed 45 and injured four. The jury, largely mining professionals, includes engineers Muse Ramsey Hutchinson Hamilton McCartney Fogarty. Testimony will cover mine inspectors and workers at the mine.
