JoAnn Esposito and family spearheaded Par for the Cure raising over 1.5 million for Dr. Dennis J. Slamon at UCLA. Self defense cited in fatal shooting in Neshannock Village
Police say a 50 year old North Hill man did not face homicide charges after fatally shooting Darius Ramsey 22 during a Thursday afternoon shootout near the shooter’s apartment. Marcus Respress 401 Neshannonk Ave was later charged with firearms and drug offenses after police seized guns 81.1 grams of heroin and marijuana. Ramsey died at UPMC Jameson Hospital after a chest wound as he fled in a black Ford Escape and crashed.
