A five year old girl, Sue Ann Williamson of 311 S. Ray St., was injured at 2:52 p.m. yesterday near her home when she ran across Ray Street and was struck by a car driven by 18 year old David C. Gee of 906 Cadet St. She received scrapes, bruises and a sprained left ankle at St. Francis Hospital. Gee swerved to avoid her but she collided with the right front fender. police say no charges will be filed.

Buggy overturns injures driver in New Wilmington crash
Rudy Wengerd age 40 of New Wilmington RD 1 suffered a left hip injury and a scalp cut when his buggy was struck by a car driven by Herbert Heckathorn 58 of New Wilmington RD 2. The collision at Pa. 158 from Short Street caused the buggy to overturn. Wengerd was in good condition at Jameson Memorial Hospital. Niles Gross of the State Insurance Department will appear at the state tax office on Butler Avenue from 5 am to 4 pm tomorrow to answer insurance questions.

Six face disorderly charges at Mohawk High School incident
State police arrested six persons yesterday on disorderly conduct charges after a group of youths entered Mohawk High School in North Beaver Township at 11 45 a m on a Friday, caused a disturbance, insulted a teacher, and exposed obscene gestures at staff. Arrested were Jerry E Barber 18 Richard L Grinnen 18 a 17 year old from West M Pitt sburg a 17 year old from Slippery Rock RD 3 and a 17 year old and a 16 year old from Wampum. Barbers and Grinnen complaints were filed with District Justice Betty Lou Kradel and will be mailed for later hearing. Juveniles released to parents.
