West Pittsburg Youths Killed In Train Tragedy

Maj Gen Lewis B Hershey announced a two day delay to give local boards time to adapt to the revised method of induction. Col Richard B Mellon explained the measure does not affect men scheduled for today or tomorrow. Some registrants were inducted in Harrisburg this morning. Mellon said Pennsylvania will not follow other states in delaying all over 25 inductions.
