New York April 10 The appellate court ruled that a banana peel on a sidewalk could not be charged to the home owners as an act of God when a passerby skids and falls but contrasted it with a soap incident. A verdict of 10000 was won by Frieda Frank against Victor Muller for a tenant tossing a banana peel. The court also reversed a lower ruling dismissing Sarah Morrison’s suit against the Rutledge Hotel for injuries from slipping on soap.
