The room has been refitted and refurnished after a recent fire and the cigar shop is one of the prettiest in the city.
Genova April One day of travel in an old fashioned carriage drawn by three horses proved enough for Col Roosevelt and his wife. They exchanged the old vehicle for an automobile and plan to complete the journey to Genoa. They spent last night at Hotel Moderne Ingistri and will visit Port Mauribio as guests of Carow, Roosevelt's sister. News of his arrival brought crowds as he travels incognito in practice.
Marcus Feuchtwanger of New Castle leads a committee from B nai B rith to decide where an orphan home will be built and run. Prospective sites include Erie and Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania and Newark in New Jersey with New Castle as a possible home base. The committee will review options over the summer and report in the fall.
The Spring Brewing Company lists assets of 18105 and liabilities 13221 in a schedule filed with Referee In Bankruptcy BM Underwood. Creditors will meet on April 22 to elect a trustee. a banking association in another city holds a mortgage for 1000 against the company.
