Easter baskets bring joy to Arise shelter helpers
Zoe Dayton an 11 year old Neshannock Girl Scout organized Easter baskets with 60 fellow scouts for residents at the Arise shelter formerly Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County. Donations from families teachers and the New Wilmington Girl Scout Service Unit filled baskets with candy coloring books and toys. Local partners Kim Settle and Chris Perrino from LCCAP helped mobilize the drive noting the need for Easter gifts for shelter families. The event followed a prior pet food drive with LCCAP and partners and aims to be delivered to shelter parents the night before Easter.
