City Council approves 306000 bond issue for renewals and parks
City council voted to issue 306000 in payover government bonds to fund the city share of the Lower Neshannock Creek urban renewal project and to finance a new Cascade Park community house restroom upgrades at Gaston Park and major equipment purchases including fire trucks. An additional 136400 is planned for other equipment purchases. Bids open May 5 at city hall. Finance Director Richard H.
