Firefighters Rescue Residents From Flooding in Scott Township

Teen creates self-guided nature trail at Pearson Park
Grace Chapman, a 16 year old homeschooled student, developed a self guided nature trail at Neshannock Township Pearson Park. The route highlights local flora and fauna with 12 numbered posts and a nearby Hutchison Center message board and QR code for digital access. The project earned her the American Heritage Girls highest award.

City to seek bids for 2024 paving work

The Carriage Manor Personal Care home at 3102 Ellwood Road Shenango Township had its license revoked after repeated violations and failure to submit civil rights compliance documents. The state Department of Human Services shut it down Tuesday, citing rent increases without notice, untrained staff, and other sanitary or security violations. a supervisor declined to comment.
