Murderer escapes from Lycoming County prison
Barney Russell, 20, convicted murderer of state police undercover agent Gary Rosenberg, fled Lycoming County prison with fellow inmate Dennis Keyser, 24, during a recreation period. Traffic toll rises on Easter weekend with multiple fatal crashes
Easter holiday weekend saw six deaths on state roadways and eight Pennsylvania residents killed in out of state crashes. In Pittsburgh Northside a car crash killed Mrs. Danna Davie of Imperial, Allegheny County, injuring driver Donald Burger of Coraopolis and another passenger. Five teens from Punxsalawney area died in a war truck collision on US 119 near Punxsalawney. Truck driver was uninjured.

Rattler bites teen in Granada Hills amid warm spell

Drivers out of luck in Pennsylvania tag mail backlog
