Triple homicide suspect released amid dropped charges
Jody Hammer, 41, of Pulaski Township, had been among three charged in the Oct 16 shooting deaths of Nichole Pumphrey, her boyfriend Lawrence Cannon, and Pumphrey’s daughter Amariah Emery. After five delayed hearings, prosecutors withdrew charges and Hammer was released from Lawrence County jail as the case against her ends while co-defendants Copercio and Cooper Jr. still face charges.
