United Methodist Converts Eastbrook Dairy for Disaster Center
The Eastbrook Mission Barn on Rogers Road, once the Jersey Dairy, is repurposed by the United Methodist Church as a disaster relief processing center. Volunteers sort and ship relief supplies donated by 60 congregations in the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference, with ongoing projects like accessibility ramps and UNICOR kits. The property was bought in 2001 and retrofitted to support year round relief work, focusing on Haiti and domestic needs.
