Hatboro Man Killed in Mercer County Car Crash
Lawrence County's first traffic fatality this year occurred when a car rear ended a coal truck on Route 19 eight miles south of Mercer. William Martin, 69, of Hatboro, died after arrival at Mercer Cottage Hospital from a fractured skull. Kenneth Paulson, 18, also of Hatboro, and two youths were treated for injuries. The driver of the coal truck, W. J. Allen, reported slowing to assist another driver. state police continue to investigate.
